"I believe, art itself about an Artist"

Bit bold, bit expressive, bit realistic, bit abstract, bit joyful, bit vibrant, bit experimental, bit conceptual, bit illustrative, the thought of limitless freedom. Love to connect with natural world and interpret, love to capture people's emotion, moves and body forms, love to capture a subject which draws my attention and love to be playful with colours in abstract form.

Artistic Practice
I love poetic marks on Plein air study, intend to capture the essence of a moment in one session. Whenever Plein air painting isn't possible, before starting my landscape painting in the studio, I venture outside to connect directly with nature and capture the basic line work on my canvas and take photos for reference. Once back in the studio, let the impressive paint marks work their magic. That direct experience and sense of perspective are essential to me. Same practice I do follow in Portraiture as well, I like to finish my painting in one sitting. My art is a meditation for me, that direct connection, observation and immediacy creates magical painting.

My favorite Abstract art which I create by using powder pigment/rangoli colours are just amazing play of colours and retheme, very vibrant and unique. For that I do apply gloss varnish on canvas, sprinkle rangoli colours and use palette knife. Some abstract paintings are conceptual by using mixed media.

Background
My childhood art interest grew from our traditional Rangoli patterns, still life drawing and colouring during school time, got to learn more in further art education and became a Graphic and multimedia designer.
My passion for drawing and painting has always been a part of me, even amidst life's responsibilities. Took carrier break in
July 2022 to move away from constant computer work, excited to re developing my carrier as an Artist. Reflecting on my college portfolio has been a source of encouragement, reminding me of the passion I have for Drawings and Paintings.

In 2023, I had the unique opportunity to help support one mum's project, leading me to explore a range of mixed media and abstract paintings. Since then gone involved in various art and craft activities, drawing inspiration from my daily observations. I believe my work will speak volumes as I continue this artistic journey.
